We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, forward-thinking Creative Director who is skilled in culturally inclusive creative and strategy development to push our creative to a new level. If you are highly conceptual and know your way around the creative development process we want to know you. The ideal candidate has demonstrated experience in creating PR Worthy campaigns in traditional advertising including OLV, Digital, OOH, and Social, and can expand thinking beyond those basics. You are organized and highly effective at managing competing priorities and timelines and presenting your ideas to an executive team.

In addition to partnering with creatives, you will work collaboratively across departments, including Strategy, PM, PR, Production, Accounts, and Business Development.

Creatives with a strong background in culture marketing play a pivotal role in our success. We seek professionals who have demonstrated success in developing and implementing campaigns that effectively reach and resonate with diverse audiences. Ideal candidates will possess a keen interest and robust experience in designing marketing and PR strategies that are inclusive of and sensitive to the cultural dynamics of a wide range of communities. Our goal is to connect authentically with audiences from various backgrounds, including but not limited to those identified by ethnicity, culture, and sexual orientation.

This is a great opportunity to work on projects with some of our high-profile clients in the entertainment industry, as well as Fortune 500 brands in technology, apparel, and consumer products.

Responsibilities:

Provide Creative team with clear communication, leadership, and motivation to develop Undeniably Dope creative that wins over clients, the culture, and awards show judges

Be a hands-on idea generator working collaboratively alongside your team

Providing mentorship and creative direction to a team of Art Directors and Copywriters

Provide constructive feedback to internal and external creative partners including Directors, Designers, Editors, and Motion Designers

Collaborate with internal stakeholders in Accounts, Strategy, PR, and Creative on the creative development process including preparing presentation decks and reviewing assets

Collaborate directly with the Strategy team to ensure concepts always answer the brief

Direct the concept, design, and development of creative materials

Attend scheduled check-ins and weekly meetings across departments

Support leadership through the ideas, design and development of new business initiatives and presentations

Collaborate cross-departmentally to actively pitch potential clients

Requirements:

Bachelor of Arts in English, Advertising, Marketing, Design or demonstrated experience in a relevant field as listed below

Multi-faceted creative with 8+ Agency Advertising experience and a proven track record of developing PR-worthy creative

4+ years of leadership and people management experience – able to lead and inspire others

Strong presentation skills

Experience with traditional, digital, and social media

Must be a bright, articulate, self-starter who can take initiative and bring new ideas to the table

Must be able to provide creative direction to a team of Art Directors and Copywriters

Professional, efficient, organized, detail-oriented, have excellent follow-through, and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Have the ability to work independently and collaboratively and to successfully manage and oversee concurrent and competing projects

Strong organizational and time management skills; meticulous and detail-oriented

Demonstrated skill in communicating strategy, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines

Ability to communicate thoughts and creative concepts to clients and management

Current in the latest consumer trends across industries such as CPG, Gaming, Travel, Sports, TV/Film & Streaming, Music, Fashion, Social and Influencers, and Technology

Must know Google Suite, especially Google Slides, and Adobe Creative Suite

Ability to travel locally (reliable transportation), domestically or internationally up to 10% as needed for client meetings/shoots

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction

Media.Monks has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what Media.Monks may pay for the position at the time of posting. Media.Monks may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on job-related factors, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.
