Maintenance Mechanic

Summary:

Journal Register Offset is looking for a FT evening/night shift Maintenance Mechanic, for our newspaper printing and inserting facility

What you will do:

Performing mechanical/electrical repairs on various printing, inserting, packaging and warehouse equipment

Interfacing with operators and supervisors about production and equipment issues

Assisting operators in diagnosing and repairing equipment issues

Performing minor building repairs as needed

What you will bring:

2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment or other mechanical/electrical trade is preferred

Ability to use hand and power tools

Understand mechanical drawings

Understand electrical schematics is a plus

Working hours are 6pm-2am, 7pm-3am or 8pm-4am, Sunday and Monday off
