MEDIA BUYER - SEARCH & DASHBOARDS

Who You Are

You’re a natural organizer, a calm in the storm type who loves the process of developing and implementing media campaigns and marketing plans. You’ll roll up your sleeves and comfortably develop, collaborate and execute on paid media strategy from creation through to completion, equally comfortable working as a team and being hands on across ad platforms.

What You’ll Do

At Madwell, we believe the message and medium are deeply intertwined, and as a digital marketer with performance experience, you’ll be assisting the Media team in the creation and execution of bespoke media plans that can spark or elevate a creative idea. You’ll be working closely with individual clients to make their marketing plans a reality in a timely and logical way, with a focus on paid search and developing client performance dashboards.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Taking ownership of all search accounts and performing ongoing account and campaign optimization

Recommending and taking the lead on restructuring accounts, cleaning up legacy accounts, and implementing changes based on current best practices

Producing recommendations for paid search optimizations and demonstrating the efficacy of our campaign strategy through thorough analysis

Managing campaign budgets and reconciliations

Building client-facing and ad hoc reporting dashboards for measurement, optimization and reading out results.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams and media partners to ensure quality and timeliness of deliverables

Presenting media recommendations and campaign performance in a clear, compelling and persuasive way

Contributing to the creative process with knowledge of new-to-market digital opportunities, data-driven insights, and unique media formats to help bridge the ideas and placements

Our Must-Haves

Experience managing search accounts across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads across various campaign types (YouTube, Performance Max, Audience Ads, Demand Gen Campaigns)

Some retailer experience, such as managing Amazon and Walmart search accounts

Experience working with Looker Data Studio or Tableau

Can synthesize strategic information to craft a cogent and compelling POV to present to clients, cross-department, or agency partners

Excellent organizational skills and a detail-oriented mindset

Strong analytical thinking and the ability to tell stories with data

Commitment to embrace diversity and change, and engage with empathy and an open mind.

Must be located within commuting distance of our Brooklyn or Denver office, and able to come into the office three times a week on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday every week.

Where You’ve Been

3-5 years experience in an agency or in-house setting in a paid search-focused role

Experience in presenting paid search performance reporting (client-facing and/or in-house)

Current knowledge of trends and media best practices in paid search

Hands-on keyboard in-platform experience

Managed larger accounts using SA360 a plus

Salary Range: $85,000 - $100,000

* This is a hybrid role based out of our NYC office, you must be located within commuting distance of Brooklyn, NY to be considered for this role.
