DevOps Engineer

Role Responsibilities:

Manage and optimize CICD pipelines for streamlined change and release management processes

Implement and operate monitoring and alerting tools

Maintain configuration management, build, continuous integration, and deployment tools

Design and implement production infrastructure architecture based on application requirements, ensuring scalability, availability, and security.

Implement security practices that comply with standards to protect the organization's data and infrastructure

Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure, fast paced environment

Working in highly collaborative teams and building quality environments

Skills and Expertise

5+ years of relevant DevOps experience

Hands-on experience working on AWS

Hands-on experience with configuring automated build, test, and deployment pipelines to streamline the software delivery process.

Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes

Hands-on experience with configuration management systems such as Terraform, Packer and Ansible

Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols.

Experience deploying and managing mission-critical applications in production environments.

Hands-on experience in linux server administration, and shell scripting with Bash, and good to have other scripting languages

Has knowledge with tools such as Prometheus, Thanos, Grafana, ELK

Experience with highly scalable distributed systems

Breadth of knowledge - OS, networking, distributed computing, cloud computing

Strong technical aptitude including excellent troubleshooting and communications skills

Good understanding and working knowledge of Agile projects such as SCRUM and KANBAN
