Electrical Service Technician - Longwall

What’s the gig?

Komatsu Underground are on the hunt for an electrical service technician to support one of our valued customers across their five mine sites stretching across the Lake Macquarie and Lithgow regions.

Full time, permanent position.

You'll also bring:

• Electrical Trade Qualification and Electrical Licence.

• Experience working underground with longwall mining equipment.

• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.

• Able to work in an autonomous role.

Key functions of this role:

Provide customers with pro-active advice and support

Facilitate Flawless Start-up plans

Develop and standardise equipment and system commissioning plans.

Provide advanced technical support for equipment in the field.

Coordinate new product field trials and document results including any opportunities for product enhancement.

Collate field data and evidence for Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities for major failures and unresolved reliability issues.

Engage with key stakeholders to identify opportunities to offer solutions for customer needs.
