Job Summary:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Nursing Aides/Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our team at Always Best Care Senior Services - Oahu in Honolulu, Hawaii. As a CNA, you will provide essential care and assistance to our senior clients, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary in the healthcare/medical industry.

Compensation & Benefits:

- Hourly pay of $18 to $25 per hour, paid weekly

Workplace Selection: Multiple facilities to choose from, select a workplace/ Clients that suit your preferences

Responsibilities:

- Provide hands-on care to senior clients, assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

- Monitor and record client's physical and emotional wellbeing, reporting any concerns to the supervising nurse

- Assist with medication reminders and ensuring clients take their medication as prescribed

- Help with light housekeeping and meal preparation, as needed

- Provide companionship and engage in activities with clients to promote social interaction and mental stimulation

- Follow care plans and attend to any changes in client's condition, communicating with the supervising nurse and other team members

- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, following all infection control procedures

- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including confidentiality and code of ethics

- Complete required documentation and reports accurately and in a timely manner

Requirements:

- Valid CNA certification and current CPR and First Aid certifications

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in healthcare is a plus

- Experience working with seniors, preferably in a home care or long-term care setting

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients and their families

- Excellent time management and organizational skills

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks

- Must pass a background check and drug screening
