Project Engineer - Mechanical Projects

For Project Engineering services in the Engineering area.

The Technical Part:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) with at least five (5) years of exposure in the Pharmaceutical industry.

Bilingual (English & Spanish)

Shift: Administrative and according to business needs.

Experience in:

Field engineering and coordination.

Mechanical projects.

All project stages: developing documentation to request a quote, generating reports and leading.

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)

Provide technical interpretation of design documents.

Execute work in accordance with quality standards and site requirements.

Performs assignments independently with minimal guidance as to the general results expected, often dealing with unusual or complex problems.

Provides direction and regular contact to consultants, vendors and contractors assigned to the project.

Ensures effective communication and coordination on assigned projects between all parties.

Keep site management informed of all circumstances that could affect projects.

Prepare weekly project reports detailing project progress

Review and compare discipline drawings for inconsistencies, omitted information and conflicts, etc.

Interface between craft and engineering to resolve drawing issues

Interaction with disciplines: subcontracts, material management, project controls and automation tools.

Coordinate system completion and turnover.

Develop a working knowledge of applicable codes and standards.

Requisition project materials, equipment and services.

Prepare quality control forms and coordinate inspections.
