Role Summary

Assist the Talent Acquisition Manager with the recruitment of competent personnel for offshore and onshore for regional and expatriate positions, whilst giving considering to the workforce planning strategy, including internal transfers and promotions.

Responsibilities

Applies all Company policies, procedures and practices with regard to workforce planning recruiting, interviewing and hiring process, and ensuring new hires are handled in accordance with Company core values and Equal Employment practices.

Contribute to building an effective work force plan to enable talent movements and find “right fit” opportunities for Borr that is aligned with our Nationalisation.

Maintain the Borr Drilling Talent bank and ensure there is a strong pipeline of highly qualified candidates to staff open positions on operational rigs and onshore functions. Assist in placing personnel that become available from discontinued operations.

Facilitate transfers throughout the fleet, partnering with Regional HR Managers to effectively develop and execute mobilization and back fill plans.

Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with operations through effective listening techniques, responsiveness and clear timely communications providing timely feedback to local HR and operations with regards to sourcing of candidates to fill their needs.

Ensure Hiring Approvals are obtained before commencing the recruitment process.

Maintain job postings on the career’s website, as well as other Company approved job posting sites and talent pools.

Screening candidates for qualifications, interest level, compensation, relocation needs, and availability etc.

Conduct HR Interview, identifying qualified candidates for open positions offshore/onshore.

Refers short-listed candidates to hiring manager; makes recommendations regarding hiring of candidates and participates in all stages of the selection process from internal transfer admin through to onboarding for a new hire.

Administer online assessments, both technical and behavioural.

Complete detailed and accurate background checks on candidates.

Work closely with Training department and or Regional HR Manager to ensure candidates comply with pre hire matrix & Competence Requirements

Collaborate with benefits group when appropriate to obtain offer details.

Assist in nationalization process in areas of operation.

Assist regions with local recruitment when required.

Ensure candidate interaction is managed, providing regular updates, including post-interview feedback

Focal point for weekly recruitment calls during ramp ups

Utilize HRIS system to manage candidates throughout the entire recruitment cycle

Liaise with external recruitment agencies / use of social media (LinkedIn) for the purpose of finding appropriate certificated personnel for shortfalls.

Liaise in special HR projects as requested

Any other duties assigned.

Communicates internally with Employees, Co-Workers, Manager, Colleagues and Heads of Department.

Communicates externally with candidate and recruitment/manning agencies

Provides specialist advice and guidance internally to Hiring Managers, making recommendations regarding hiring of candidates, including promotions and transfers globally ensuring the R&S procedure is always adhered to.

The position supports the management of the recruitment specialism and has no direct reports.

Office based role which requires attention to detail, working under own initiative, prioritising multiple tasks simultaneously whilst working to tight deadlines where problems can be difficult and sometimes complex.

The role does not require travel.

Qualifications and Experience

Certificate in Recruitment Practice (CertRP) (preferred not essential)

Competency & Interview Techniques (preferred not essential as training can be provided)

Previous experience in Workforce Planning, Recruitment & Staffing is preferred

Knowledge of the Drilling Industry would be desirable

Workday and Mintra system’s experience is desirable

Ability to work as a team and individually, uses own initiative to identify and prioritize

Highly organised and responsive, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work to tight deadlines

Knowledge of human resources principles, practices, and procedures.

Excellent interpersonal, & relationship building skills. Experience in and a strong desire to work in a collaborative fashion with other HR professionals.

Familiarity with behavioural/competency-based interviewing techniques and selection assessment tools is advantageous.

The role also requires that a high level of confidentiality be maintained.
