We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at our facility located in Chicago, IL, 60608. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment by conducting electrical and mechanical troubleshooting. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in a manufacturing environment who enjoys problem-solving and working with their hands.Responsibilities

Conduct electrical troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues with manufacturing equipment

Perform mechanical troubleshooting to diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions

Carry out routine maintenance tasks, such as lubricating machinery and replacing worn-out parts

Collaborate with other team members to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure minimal downtime

Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Document maintenance activities, including repairs and preventive maintenance tasksQualifications

Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, with the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics

Proficient mechanical troubleshooting skills, including knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems

Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a maintenance role
