Job purpose
Support a 24/7 manufacturing facility and is responsible for all aspects of the Maintenance Department. This includes managing a program that ensures all assets including production equipment, and support equipment. Develop and manage a team; identify and manage an annual budget to align with actual production volume, and work with plant leadership to maintain established KPIs.
Duties and responsibilities
Manages, leads, and motivates a team to deliver results by communicating company goals, safety practices, and deadlines, engaging and developing teammates through effective performance management, and coaching and training.
Collaborates with the plant leadership team to ensure Annual Business Plan goals and other KPIs are achieving targets and develops and implements action plans to correct below-target performance measures by actively participating in Meetings, Management Reviews, and Audits
Negotiate contracts with outside vendors for the execution of maintenance work.
Ensure operational efficiency of electrical equipment and mechanical systems through timely inspection and repair.
Ensure that company premises and facilities are kept in clean and hygienic condition.
Confers with management, engineering, and quality control personnel to resolve maintenance problems and recommend measures to improve operations and conditions of machines and equipment.
Implement workplace safety policies and standards.
Other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or facility management preferred.
Minimum experience of 5 years in a supervisory role
Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
Possess a strong understanding of Programmable Logic Controllers, PLC Networking, Hydraulics, Electrical
Advanced skill level in project management
Familiarity in drafting and understanding blueprints and schematics
Effective communication and people management skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Technical knowledge of automated production machine equipment and maintenance required.
Must be able to work from blueprints, manufacturer specifications, and wiring diagrams.
Ability to use common precision measurement gages, multimeters, and basic machine shop equipment.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This role would supervise all production maintenance technicians.
Physical Demands
Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours
Must be able to push/pull/ lift at least 45 lbs. individually and 50 lbs. with the help of a team member
Must be able to use, handle, and manipulate items and materials, including hazardous materials, with proper material handling equipment/tools.
Must be able to work in an office setting, and spend partial working hours at a desk using a computer and other office equipment such as printers, copiers, postage machines, etc.
Must complete 24/40-hour HazWoper Training and be medically qualified to wear respiratory protection

Safety Requirements
Physically able to pass spirometry exam for test fitting of respiratory equipment.
Ability to wear required PPE (including safety glasses, gloves (nitrile, canvas, etc.), hearing protection, ANSI-approved footwear, and others as required.) in any manufacturing area.
Ability to wear required PPE if in any manufacturing area.
The hiring range for this position is $70,000 to $100,000 per year. This range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications.
