Do you want to travel and see the rest of the UK, Europe or even the USA maybe further? Then this could just be the job for you!

Our Onsite Technicians are responsible for preparing onsite equipment, assist in planning registration areas, providing technical expertise at key conferences and exhibitions and delivery of the events closely with the logistical department to move equipment primarily in the United Kingdom but also across the globe. You will then travel to the event working closely with the client to provide a seamless experience for the visitors of the event.

When working away from the office, your travel, food, and accommodation costs are paid for by the business!

A good standard of verbal and written English is required. This is a full-time role, primarily standard office hours but flexible working can be accommodated. The events industry is not strictly 9-5, there will be some out-of-hours and weekend work together with UK and overseas travel. The ideal candidate will have a Clean UK driver's license and be based within 30 miles of the Coventry office. Initial training will be provided but it is imperative you have commercial experience, maturity and proactive attitude.

Be knowledgeable in:

Customer Service.

CRM Systems.

Equipment Maintenance.

Logistics and equipment movement.

PHP.

HTML.

CSS.

Your primary responsibilities will be:

Liaising with clients to help plan smooth registration and entry to their event.

Setting up and maintaining registration equipment at venues across the country/further afield.

Assisting the logistics department in preparing and maintaining equipment when in the office.

Using the technologies listed above to amend booking pages and systems based on client specifications when not onsite or preparing for an onsite event.

Help build PHP based systems for maintaining devices and web pages.

The ideal candidate will also:

Be a confident and clear communicator.

Be thorough and have high attention to detail.

Be reliable and have good timekeeping skills.

Have general IT and/or networking knowledge.

Be willing to travel and spend time away from home.

Be willing to drive Small – medium sized vans when needed.
