CDA Certified Assistant Teacher for PHLpreK

Job Description

We are seeking a CDA certified PreK Teacher to join our organization! This individual will plan and present age appropriate activities for children.

Responsibilities:

Provide academic and developmentally appropriate Creative Curriculum instruction to infants/toddlers in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth

Use Teaching Strategies Gold to record observations for children

Create a fun and safe learning environment

Work cooperatively with co-teachers to ensure high quality early learning experience for children

Support established schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime

Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents

Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress

Maintain the health and safety of all students

Meet with Parents and support parent participation in programming

Qualifications:

Min. 2 years child care experience

Passionate about working with children

Ability to build rapport with children and parents

Possess a positive and patient demeanor
