Senior Accountant

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant for a direct hire opportunity with our client located in Irvine. This position will be a hybrid opportunity.

Pay $85,000 to $95,000 plus bonus

Responsibilities for the Senior Accountant:

Responsible for the monthly journal entries and bank reconciliations

Preparation of the monthly financial statements

Handle budgeting, forecasting and variances

Monthly close process, assist with audits and account analysis

Ensure internal controls are met

Accruals, expenses and ad hoc reportingRequirements for the Senior Accountant:

BA/BS in Accounting or Finance

5+ years of GL accounting experience

CPA is preferred

Advanced Excel (Vlookup and pivot table functions)

QuickBooks

Strong attention to detail

Excellent communication skills
