Diesel Mechanic

Job Description

We are looking for a Diesel Mechanic to join our team! You will be responsible for repairing various tractors and other miscellaneous farm equipment.

Responsibilities:

Good interpersonal and customer service skills

Good oral and written communication skills

Valid driver’s license is required

Ability to perform simple to complex repairs and maintenance using special tools and equipment

Functional knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural equipment

Accounts for all time on a computer system

Accurately documents service/repairs made and accounts for all material used in performing assigned duties

Ability to use diagnostic computer programs and basic computer functions

Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a mechanic

Knowledge of shop equipment

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

Deadline and detail-oriented

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
