Responsibilities
Our client is seeking a Server Programmer Analyst IV - .NET/SQL to develop and maintain multiple messaging team .NET applications. This role involves the development, maintenance, and enhancement of ASP.NET/MVC and .NET Core applications. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team located in Richmond, VA, and will contribute to the development of new applications using modern frameworks and technologies.
Develop, maintain, and enhance ASP.NET/MVC and .NET Core applications
Assist in the development of a new ASP.NET MVC and .NET Core application with Entity Framework Code First, C#, and jQuery
Consume and/or create Web Services
Work with Source Control – Azure Automation and Defect tracker for application promotion processes
Requirements
Minimum of 8 years of experience with C#.NET, demonstrating a strong background in developing and maintaining ASP.NET/MVC applications
At least 5 years of hands-on experience with .NET Core, showing proficiency in building and maintaining modern web applications
Extensive experience (8+ years) in SQL Server database design and development, showcasing strong skills in creating robust data architectures and efficient SQL queries
A minimum of 5 years of experience in Azure/TFS Automation, illustrating skills in managing source control and deploying automation solutions effectively
Proven expertise (8+ years) in jQuery and JavaScript, demonstrating the ability to develop dynamic and responsive web interfaces
Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical details and interact effectively with team members and stakeholders
Education/Certification Requirements
At least 1 year of experience using GitLab, showing familiarity with its version control and CI/CD functionalities
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Power Platform development, demonstrating the ability to create and manage business solutions using Microsoft’s suite of tools
At least 2 years of practical experience in Agile development methodologies, indicating a strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, or Scrumban frameworks
Drivers License Requirements
