Description:

The Financial Analyst II provides reliable and insightful financial planning and analysis support. The incumbent works with division leadership to identify key issues, required analyses, metrics, and action plans to improve business performance.

Analyzes financial results and prepare monthly expense forecasts for supported departments.

Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately.

Performs financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts.

Reviews purchase requests to ensure spending is within budget and requisitions are consistent with procurement and accounting guidelines.

Develops integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations.

Education Required:

Bachelor's Degree (four-year college or technical school), Field of Study: Finance or Accounting.

Or, any combination of education and experience which would provide the required qualifications for the position.

Experience Required:

2+ years’ experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A).

Strong financial systems experience, particularly in SAP and BPC.

Data warehouse/business intelligence experience such as Qlik, Tableau, PowerBI, Cognos.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Knowledge of: Accounting principles, statistical concepts, Excel, PowerPoint, Data Visualization/BI tools.

Skill in: Analytical thinking, accuracy and attention to detail, presentation, communication.

Ability to: Work in a fast-paced environment; stay organized, prioritize workload, multi-task, and meet deadlines. Establish and maintain effective working relationships.
