Job Objective

DBS Bank is looking for an Fullstack developer with experience working on enterprise level data engineering, analytics, and observability applications. The developer would be responsible for ensuring high availability of the platform/application services and monitoring and observability - data pipelines, dashboards, alerting and anomaly detection for Enterprise Incident Management. The Full stack developer will also perform automation development tasks to remove toil and increase the team’s productivity

Responsibilities

Responsibility will be to Onboard applications into monitoring tools such as ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash and Kibana) and perform production support for the platform.

Involved in web development, REST API development and smart metering information development.

Working with a CI/CD pipeline (Bitbucket, Jenkins, Nexus, SonarQube) and deployment tools such as Docker and OpenShift

Can work under dynamic change environment 24/7 support and have the right attitude to learn and implement.

Ensure code and designs are in compliance with bank’s policies, follow specifications, coding best practices, prepare and produce releases of software components.

Automate repetitive tasks, optimize processes, and perform thorough testing to ensure quality.

Design and develop data engineering pipelines and manage data lifecycle policies.

Working with Agile teams using JIRA tool

Managing the end-to-end life cycle for the production of software and application.

Requirements.

Min 5 – 10 years of relevant IT work experience.

Working knowledge of Grafana, Prometheus, Confluent Kafka, Elastic stack (Elasticsearch / Logstash / Kibana / Beats) including data ingestion, management, monitoring & analytics. Able to perform L1/2 ELK related tasks.

Significant experience with Java, Spring Boot Framework, Web Sockets, gRPC, Go Lang and Node JS

Design and develop RESTful APIs using Node.js, and other web frameworks.

Experience in designing and building highly scalable distributed ML models in production and then Create & deploy machine learning jobs for anomaly detection in IT eco Systems.

Creating automated anomaly detection systems and constant tracking of its performance

Experience in anomaly detection or root cause analysis related to monitoring products is preferred.

In-depth experience in Unix/Linux/Shell/Python scripting.

Strong communication skills, both spoken and written

Experience in managing application running in OpenShift, Docker

Adequate knowledge of database systems (RDBMS, MariaDB, SQL, NOSQL), Object Oriented Programming and web application development.

Good problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills

Good Experience in DevOps CI/CD pipelines and groovy scripting.
