Your duties and responsibilities:

Handle turnover of empty units, including repairs (e.g., sheetrock, taping, sanding, painting, and fixing doors, windows, light fixtures, etc.)

Use your basic carpentry, electrical, and plumbing skills to respond to tenant maintenance requests

Install tile and laminate flooring

Assist in maintaining walkways and parking lot in the winter

Take part in the on-call rotation schedule and respond to maintenance emergency calls

Report all issues to management

Other maintenance duties as assigned

We hope you:

Are a multi-tasker

Have a go-getter attitude and are ready to work

Have at least 2 years of experience in multi-family maintenance and have experience with public contact

Have formal training or experience in the following areas electrical work, painting, refurbishing, and Authority's "Maintenance Test"

Job must-haves:

Minimum high school education or equivalent

Valid driver’s license and current vehicle registration

Possession of basic tools needed to perform routine maintenance tasks

Physical aspects of the job may require heavy lifting, bending, kneeling, stooping, climbing, balancing, and carrying

Demonstrate a neat and clean appearance and uphold maintenance standards
