Summary/Objective
BullDog Hose Company is seeking a maintenance tech/mechanic with experience in maintaining production equipment and machinery with minimal down time. Also experience in weaving equipment (looms and twisters), plastic and rubber extrusion, steaming, vulcanizing and general building maintenance or any combination is preferred. Will engage in supporting manufacturing and the execution of maintenance tasks, with minimal supervision.
Essential Functions

Routinely troubleshoot and repair all plant and facility equipment
Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by performing preventive maintenance
Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance
Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the supervisor
Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
Responsible for personal compliance of all OSHA and Bulldog Hose rules and regulations
Follows the Bulldog Hose Quality Assurance Program by accurately performing the required tasks as directed by team leader
Perform miner building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and repairs as necessary
Quickly respond when production equipment is down in need of maintenance repair
Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies
Perform tasks and projects assigned by the Plant Manager or Maintenance Manager in a timely manner
Non-Essential Functions
Accurately records time worked and allocates time to the appropriate job(s)
May operate a forklift as needed
Qualifications & Skills
High School diploma or GED
Minimum of (5) years experience of industrial maintenance
Capable of lifting (50) pounds unassisted
Experience in cutting and threading schd 40 nd schd 80 plumping pipe
Operate fork lift as required
Welding (MIG and ARC) and cutting skills
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Electrical trouble shooting skills is a plus but not required
Effective written and oral communication skills in English

The team member must regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds; and frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time 3rd shift position. Days of work and hours are Monday through Friday 11:00pm to 7:30 am
Opportunities to work extended hours and on weekend, work may be optional or required as job duties demand
Travel
No travel is regularly expected for this position. Team member may be assigned to go out on a service call to a customer’s premise
