Job Description
The role of the Government Practice Leader is to grow FI’s business serving public sector clients. Responsibilities span Sales, Sales Leadership, Strategy, and Client Relationships. The Practice Leader must clearly articulate the target market, relevant value propositions, and the associated sales, execution, and capacity development strategy.
Responsibilities include:
Grow FI’s government business by finding, cultivating, and closing new opportunities at existing clients, and developing new clients
Build relationships with key client accounts
Implement and ensure consistent strategies for building pipeline, business development, and capture
Train and lead others to support building pipeline, business development, and capture
Expand and manage relationships with business partners
Achieve growth, and performance goals
Develop sales leaders, and manage them to achieve their goals
Draw on and contribute to FI’s core assets and competencies, and use FI’s asset base (technology, data, and methodologies) to sell solutions with greater leverage
Embody FI core values, and lead and support corporate-wide initiatives
Collaborate effectively with leaders across all levels of FI
Conduct quarterly reviews of progress against planWho You Are

Deep knowledge of the Federal government marketplace, including how Federal agencies buy, how to sell to them, and competitive factors e.g., personnel, partners, past performance, pricing, etc.
Understanding of how data, modeling, analytics, and technology can drive solutions to business problems
Established relationships within government agencies and government contractor community
Experience and deep understanding of consulting delivery on Federal government contracts is a plus
Understanding of federal credit agencies, financial regulators, or banking or other private sector financial institutions is a plusRequired Qualifications:
Direct experience selling management consulting services, custom technology solutions, or other complex offerings to Federal agencies
Has successfully developed and managed organizations responsible for sales and delivery
Experience designing and implementing business development initiatives
Demonstrated ability to manage a P&L and drive business growth
Authorization for permanent employment in the U.S.Additional requirements:

Successfully pass a background investigation and drug screening.
