Primary Registered Nurse

Job Summary: Responsible for providing nursing care to a group of patients and coordinating Hospice services requested by the physician.

The primary nurse supervises certified Nurse Aide (CNA) and cooperates with other disciplines to give high quality total care to the patient at home.

Qualifications: Graduated from an accredited school of nursing and Current RN license to practice in NC (NC license or multi-state (compact) license). A minimum of one year clinical experience in an acute care setting with Oncology background preferred.

Clinical experience must have been within last three years unless employed currently in home care setting.

Utilizes good clinical judgment and skill in the nursing management of clients with chronic or acute illness.

Demonstrates the ability to function independently and to provide guidance and supervision of CNA#s.

Has good time management skills, great attitude, flexibility, is self motivated and conscientious.

Valid driver#s license, car insurance and reliable transportation to facilitate visits to home.#Intermediate computer skills required.# Must maintain BLS certification.# # EOE AA M/F/Vet/Disability
