Heavy Civil Estimator

Seeking an Civil Estimator responsible for earthwork construction material quantity take-offs utilizing AGTEK software. Work with estimating staff in bid process. Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.

Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Estimator in Heavy Civil construction.

In-depth understanding of heavy civil construction materials, methods, and regulations.

Proficiency in industry-standard estimating software, including:

HCSS HeavyBid

HCSS HeavyJob

BidNet Estimator

Viewpoint Estimating

Primavera

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

Adept at working both independently and as part of a team.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

You may stand out even more with:

Experience with building information modeling (BIM) software.

Certification from professional organizations like the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering (AACE) International.

Experience in a specific type of heavy civil project, such as roads, mining, bridges, or water and wastewater systems.

Knowledge and Skills:

As a Heavy Civil Estimator, you should have a strong grasp of the following:

Cost engineering principles.

Risk management.

Scheduling.

Procurement.
