Position Title: Business Analyst

Work Set-up: Hybrid Setup (WFH, Office)

Salary: Php 60,000.00 – Php 80,000.00

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM PH Time

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR A BUSINESS ANALYST

Responsibilities as a Business Analyst:

• Collaborate with stakeholders, including product managers, developers, and clients, to gather and document detailed business requirements.

• Analyse existing business processes and workflows, identify areas for improvement, and recommend streamlined solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

• Create clear and comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, wireframes, user stories, process flows, and functional specifications.

• Provide timely and effective support to customers by addressing their inquiries, issues, and requests through various communication channels, such as email, phone, chat, and ticketing systems.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot software-related problems reported by customers, guiding them through solutions or escalating complex issues to the development team.

• Collect and document customer feedback, feature requests, and bug reports, sharing this information within the team for continuous improvement.

• Serve as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring effective communication and understanding of product objectives and requirements.

• Plan, manage and execute the product testing and validation process to ensure they meet the defined business requirements and user expectations.

• Participate in developing training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users to ensure successful adoption of our solutions.

• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to contribute innovative ideas for improving our tech platform.

Qualifications as a Business Analyst:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst (If this is in insurtech space or insurance industry this would be great but not essential)

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business needs into technical solutions.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., JIRA).

• Knowledge of the insurance industry processes and regulations is a plus but not essential.
