We are a recruitment company based in Colombo, Sri Lanka, and we are currently looking for an Assistant Brand Manager for one of the reputed biscuit manufacturing companies in Sri Lanka.

Requirements

Assist in developing and implementing comprehensive brand strategies that align with the company's overall objectives. Collaborate with senior brand managers to ensure consistency and coherence in all corporate communications.

Create engaging content for various corporate communication channels, including press releases, website content, social media posts, and internal communications. Manage content calendars and ensure timely delivery of materials.

Cultivate and maintain relationships with key media outlets and journalists. Act as a liaison between the company and the media, handling inquiries, drafting press releases, and coordinating interviews and media appearances.

Monitor the company's brand presence across various platforms and channels. Analyze data and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies and identify areas for improvement. Provide regular reports and insights to the brand management team.

Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, public relations, and corporate affairs, to ensure alignment and integration of corporate communication efforts. Support cross-functional initiatives and projects as needed to enhance the overall brand presence and reputation. Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field is required. Advanced degrees or certifications in relevant areas can be advantageous

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. The candidate should be proficient in crafting compelling messages for different audiences and channels, including press releases, social media, and internal communications.

Prior experience in media relations, including building relationships with journalists, drafting press releases, and managing media inquiries, is highly desirable. Familiarity with media monitoring tools and practices is a plus.

Strong analytical skills are necessary to evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies, interpret data and metrics, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement. Proficiency in using analytics tools and platforms is preferred.

The candidate should be a collaborative team player capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment is essential.
