We are seeking a Zero Trust SME/Strategist to join our team of experts tasked with securing the critical networks and systems our clients depend on.

Responsibilities

Provide Zero Trust and Cybersecurity Subject Matter Expertise in multiple security domains.

Advise on cybersecurity best practices to reduce risk and maintain customer confidentiality, integrity and availability.

Provide expertise in the development and deployment of software defined infrastructure, private cloud, Infrastructure as Code, IT automation, and DevOps solutions.

Guide hardware and software selection, procurement, and configuration, and engages with partners, vendors, and team members to ensure organizational success.

Support the Government in ensuring that contracts directly responsible for implementing CA system development requirements implement solutions in accordance with CA design goals and standards.

Provide expertise for architectures to realize more loosely coupled, system-of-systems implementations to ensure system development teams deliver high quality, secure, performant, and fault tolerant system components that can be managed in production in a cost-effective manner.

Engage with agile development teams and enterprise architects to improve applications and systems security.

Evaluate both system and application scans and architecture designs for security vulnerabilities providing remediation recommendations.

Develop architecture, engineering, design, and coding standards to improve applications security for adoption by both development and operations teams.

Coordinate, build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

4-year college degree in Computer Science or related field and 2 years’ experience or 5 years’ experience in lieu of a college degree.

Experience demonstrating strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for cybersecurity.

Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

Expertise of security standards and frameworks including: NIST CSF, FISMA, FedRAMP.

Knowledge of security concepts such as cyber-attacks and techniques, threat vectors, risk management, threat management, and incident management.

Solid understanding of cloud-based technologies such as AWS and Azure.

Knowledgeable of Windows and UNIX/LINIX environments, MS SQL Server and Oracle DBs, and VMware.

Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

Desired Skills

CISSP, Security+, MCSE, A+, and/or other industry certifications.

Experience with AWS and/or Azure.
