Job Description Summary:
Responsible for deep understanding of COGS impacts on Japan & South Korea (J&SK) Operating Unit (OU) P&L on a monthly basis. This implies to report actual COGS as well as Rolling Estimate, Business Plan and Long Plan partnering with Procurement team to understand main drivers of COGS. This position is also responsible for defining STD COGS as well as PPV variance.
What You’ll Do for Us
Report Rolling Estimate, Business Plan, Productivity, Write-off risk and supplier commitment of COGS
Create FX hedging strategy to gain the approval from OU Finance VP and track the FX exposure to mitigate FX risk to our P&L
Partner with Procurement Team to understand COGS drivers, anticipate scenarios and propose actions to mitigate negative impacts on margins.
Lead the digitalization agenda to automatize and simplify COGS activities and analysis
Other Ad-Hoc analysis required by Planning Director
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance or equivalent with at least 5 years of financial planning experience possessing strong finance skills in managing COGS
Curiosity to find new opportunity
Communication skill to work with COGS buyers and other functions
Proficient in English and Japanese
