Job Title: AP Staff Accountant

Location: Hybrid - Arlington, VA (on-site 4 days a week)

Salary: $65,000 per year

Job Type: Permanent

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.

• Verify invoices, ensure appropriate approvals, and resolve discrepancies.

• Reconcile vendor statements and respond to vendor inquiries.

• Assist with month-end close activities related to accounts payable.

• Maintain accurate and organized records of invoices, payments, and related documentation.

• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

• Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience as a Staff Accountant or similar role.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance highly preferred.

• Proficiency with accounting software (Oracle Fusion experience is a plus but not required).

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive financial information.
