Heavy vehicle diesel mechanic

Must live within Australia. We require a Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic to manage our fleet on Brisbane's southside. You will be responsible for providing servicing and repairs for a wide variety of vehicles and trailers.

Qualifications:

Must have a Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic qualification

Must have experience working as a diesel mechanic

Must have a valid HC driver's licence

Key responsibilities:

- a high level of mechanical aptitude is essential for this role

- you will be performing analysis and diagnosis of mechanical problems

- ability to resolve issues in a timely and professional manner

- you will be performing detailed inspections of trucks and trailers

- you will need to maintain a high standard of delivery on all work and meet deadlines

- comply with a safe work environment

- good communication and follow up

- maintain accurate records of repairs on vehicles

- reliable

Job types: full-time, permanent

Salary: $45 to $65 per hour

Schedule: day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Coopers Plains, QLD, 4108: reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience: Diesel mechanic, 1 year (required)

Licence certification: HC licence (preferred)

Work authorisation: Australia (preferred)
