Meat Packer/ Labourer

We are currently offering a meat packing/ Labouring role in Dandenong South. We are seeking a worker on a casual ongoing basis for aproximatley 30 hours per week, experience preferred in the meat industry or hospitality etc. We are a small/medium meat wholesaler/processor for the local domestic market and strive on quality, our facilty is very clean, organised with a very good working environment.

Monday to Friday between with varied hours between 7.30 am to 4.00 pm.

Casual starting Pay Rates - $29.21 per hour

Your duties will consist of the following but may vary:

Packing meat into bags including Beef, Lamb, Pork & Veal primals

Working on a vacuum seal machine

Lifting up to 25 kg crates & cartons

Working in Chilled environment 10 - 11 Degrees

Loading and unloading of meat products into chillers

General Cleaning Duties

To be successful in this role you will need to be:

Motivated to work

Physically fit and able to work at an efficient pace

lift crates & cartons upto 25 kg

Able to work hours between Monday to Friday ongoing

Comfortable with handling raw meat and working in a refrigerated environment
