Due to a rapid expansion in our business, we are seeking highly-skilled Diesel Fitter with proven experience to join our team working at our Hemmant Workshop and Approved Inspection Station. You will need to be a Trade Qualified Diesel Fitter to be successful in this position.
Job Description:
As a Professional Diesel Fitter, you will play a crucial role in fault diagnosis, repair and maintenance of company vehicles and equipment. Your responsibilities will vary depending on your experience level but may include:
Minimising plant and equipment downtime through proactive maintenance.
Diagnosing, inspecting, servicing, and repairing the fleet to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
Maintaining all company plant, equipment, and vehicles according to manufacturer's specifications.
Attending breakdowns and performing field-related mechanical repairs promptly.
Communicating safety or maintenance issues effectively and efficiently.
Key Requirements:
3 years' experience as a Diesel Mechanic
Certification III in Heavy Machine Mechanic or Diesel Fitter
Strong technical skills and knowledge of diesel engine systems and components
Experience with Kone, Kalmar, Hyster, Sennebogen, Caterpillar preferred
Manual Licence essential
