Responsibilities:

Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements like profit and loss statements, cash flow statement, monthly and quarterly revenue projection and so on in accordance with relevant accounting standards.

Prepare financial statements for our clients, including boards of directors, management, shareholders, and regulatory bodies.

Conducting financial investigations, generating reports, conducting audits, and providing guidance on business transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, and capital financing.

Mange and oversee the operating costs for the company and create an execution plan for the set expenses of the company.

Providing assurance on the accuracy of financial reports and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements by overseeing all incoming and outgoing transactions.

Collaboration with financial institutions and brokers to establish effective funds management arrangements.

Implementation and upkeep of accounting systems, including advising on computer-based systems.

Provide financial advice and guidance to the management on matters related to budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies, including ATO regulations.

Prepare comprehensive financial viability reports to help our clients meet regulatory requirements, while ensuring business sustainability, and provide recommendations for improving financial stability.

Develop detailed budgeting plans aligned with our client's strategic business plans, create financial forecasts to anticipate future conditions, and monitor budget performance with variance analysis to identify and address deviations.

Oversee client transactions, implement internal controls, manage accounts payable/receivable processes, and prepare accurate financial statements (income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements) on an ongoing basis.

Assist clients in preparing for ASQA initial registration audits by ensuring financial viability and sustainability, developing and reviewing business plans, financial forecasts, and financial management systems, and providing support and documentation to demonstrate compliance with financial reporting obligations.

Develop and manage cash flow forecasts to ensure clients maintain adequate liquidity while also conducting cost analysis to identify areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

Previous proven experience of a minimum 2 years in accounting, with a focus on accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliation, payroll, and reporting within the RTO/CRICOS industry.

Sound knowledge of Australian financial regulations and compliance requirements.

Proficiency in accounting software and advanced computer skills.

Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational abilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or CA certification preferred but not mandatory.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position based in our office premises in Melbourne, Australia.

Normal working hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with flexibility required during peak periods.

Occasional overtime may be required to meet deadlines.
