Position Overview:

Role: Occupational Therapist

Location: Serving clients in Northern Melbourne

Employment Type: Casual/Part-time

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' functional abilities and identify areas for intervention.

Develop personalized treatment plans focused on improving clients' independence and participation in daily activities.

Implement evidence-based interventions to address physical, cognitive, and psychosocial challenges.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including caregivers and healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.

Provide education and support to clients and their families to enhance understanding and promote self-management strategies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.

Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.

Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

Experience working with diverse populations and age groups preferred.

Strong clinical skills and knowledge of best practices in occupational therapy.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.

Compassionate and client-centered approach to therapy.

Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
