Seeking experienced restaurant professionals to fill our Dining Room Manager opening at Punderson Manor Lodge. The Dining Room Manager is responsible for leading, supporting, and directing all restaurant operations. They will maintain an efficient, profitable and professional restaurant by providing high levels of guest and associate satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
Hire, supervise and train dining room staff, ensuring a high level of professionalism and adherence to service standards
Develop floor charts, schedules and assign duties to staff members to ensure adequate coverage and efficient operation of the dining room
Manage and control labor costs on a daily basis
Manage the Dining Room reservation system for breakfast, lunch dinner, holidays and other special events
Monitor and maintain inventory levels of dining room supplies, equipment, and food and beverage items
Collaborate with the Executive Chef to create and update menus, taking into consideration seasonal ingredients, guest feedback, and cost controls
Work closely with the banquet and event teams to ensure successful coordination and execution of events in the dining room
Handle guest inquiries and complaints in a prompt and professional manner, striving to provide excellent customer service at all times
Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions to ensure a well-informed and motivated team
Maintain a safe, sanitary, and organized dining room and work environment, following all health and safety regulations
Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the lodge as a whole
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
2-5 years of experience in a supervisory role in a full service restaurant
Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends and holidays
Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including inventory management and cost controls
Proven ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve high levels of guest satisfaction
Must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and poise
Must be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 30 pounds for extended periods of time
