Salary: 19.50-21.50

Our HR Coordinator is an onboarding specialist responsible for managing and enhancing the onboarding experience for new team members during their first 30 days with the organization. This role ensures a smooth transition into the company, facilitating all administrative processes, and providing ongoing support to ensure new hires are fully integrated into their roles and the company culture.

What will I be doing?

Pre-Onboarding Preparation- Coordinate with leadership and managers to prepare for the arrival of new hires. This includes preparing onboarding schedules, organizing orientation sessions, and ensuring all necessary equipment and access are ready for their first day.

Documentation and Compliance-Manage all onboarding documentation, including entry level employment contracts, tax forms, ensuring timely completion and compliance with federal and local employment laws.

Orientation and Training- Conduct orientation sessions to familiarize new hires with company policies, procedures, culture, and values.

Integration Support: Serve as the main point of contact for new hires, providing support and guidance through their initial 30 days. Address any questions or concerns to ensure a positive onboarding experience. Elevate issues as needed to the Human Resource Director.

Feedback and Improvement- Collect feedback from new hires and departmental managers to continuously improve the onboarding process. Implement changes as directed to enhance the overall experience and effectiveness of the onboarding program.

Reporting and Administration- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of onboarding activities and new hire progress. Provide reports and insights to direct leadership to help track the effectiveness of the onboarding program.

Experience

- 1-2 years of experience in human resources, specifically in onboarding or employee relations.

- Strong understanding of HR practices and employment laws.

- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.

- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.'

Preferred Qualifications

- Professional HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP).

- Experience in a legal or professional services environment.
