Inside Sales Representative

Responsibilities:

Generate new sales opportunities through outbound calls & emails.

Respond to inbound sales enquiries with timely and accurate information, fostering positive customer experiences.

Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand clients’ needs and requirements to effectively propose solutions that align with their objectives.

Prompt follow-up to all customer inquiries and actively pursue leads and existing customers.

Stay up-to-date on our products and services, as well as industry trends, to effectively recommend the most appropriate solutions and exceptional customer experience.

You are responsible for meeting and exceeding quarterly targets.

Handle objections and negotiate agreements to close sales.

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.

You will engage in training sessions, meetings, skill building, and professional development classes provided by the company.

Provide weekly updates to Cantaloupe employees of closed deals and new sales opportunities.

You will be responsible for continuously acquiring and integrate industry knowledge related to general trends, emerging technologies, & competitors.

Utilize CRM tools to track interactions, sales progress, and report on achievements.

Continuously updating customer information within the CRM.

Requirements:

Proven inside sales experience, consulting, or account management roles, preferably in a B2B environment.

Preferred but not required to have vending, micro market or amusement industry experience.

Strong understanding of business operations, challenges and opportunities.

Proficiency with corporate productivity and web presentation tools.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively coney technical information to non-technical audiences.

Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Spanish is a plus.

Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

Polished, professional presentation skills

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and client requirements.

Entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to roll up sleeves to get the (right) job done.

Demonstrated ability to achieve sales quotas.

Preferred Qualifications:

BA/BS in business, marketing or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience with Microsoft Suite, Salesforce and Netsuite a plus.
