Job Description

The Electrical Foreman provides supervision for the electrical scope of work on the construction project to make sure the work is executed in accordance with the approved drawings, specifications, approved materials submittal. The foreman is responsible for overseeing daily operations at the worksite to ensure work is executed timely, safe and at a high-quality level.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

To plan and organize electrical works i.e., high voltage, medium voltage, low voltage, Fire Alarm System, Telecommunication System, Lightning protection and DDC control system; supervise highly skilled workers; perform maintenance and operations of any electrical works and related work.

Leads and performs in a variety of Electrical functions, which encompass all in accordance with the codes, project specifications. Supervise Electrical installation up to testing and commissioning of the systems.

Responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and supervising the Electrical works, ensuring that all work is delivered safely on time and within budget along with managing equipment and materials required.

Responsible for reviewing and implementing the works in accordance with the approved shop drawings, materials, and equipment submittals and for conformance to Contract drawings and Specification.

Assist Superintendent and Project Engineer for coordinating the works at site of all disciplines.

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Five (5) years of continuous experience as an Electrical Foreman.

Knowledgeable in the sequence of operations of Electrical System, Fire Alarm System, DDC system, Generator System, Telecommunication System, and any related electrical equipment.

Basic estimating skills.

Ability to read and understand plans and specifications.

Effective & strong communication skills.

Starting salary: $25/hr.
