Planning Manager

The opportunity

We are hiring an ambitious and forward-thinking planning manager to join our established and growing team based at Heathrow.

Project: Working on refurbishment of passenger areas, works to improve security compliance processes within terminals, MEP refurbishment and projects to extend the serviceability lifespan of existing buildings.

Your responsibilities will include:

Following Mace procedures, industry best practise and client specifications to create a master baseline schedule in asta power project software.

Using schedule hierarchy, create level 3, 4 & 5 schedules for project delivery and communicate these to the project team.

Creating detailed trade contractor schedules covering design, procurement, installation and close out.

Incorporation of the trade contractors’ schedules into the Mace schedule hierarchy.

Effective communication of scheduling and project controls matters to all members of the project team, which includes Mace, the client, the design team, and the trade contractors.

Site walking to establish site progress and compliance with health and safety standards.

Managing of trade contractors’ progress reporting and integration of progress information into the Mace schedule hierarchy.

Creating and monitoring of KPIs and production of weekly/monthly dashboards and reports.

Issuing KPI and production output data to the Mace planning database.

Involvement in the change management process to determine the impact of change on the programme.

Creating and managing of the commissioning programme.

Development of commissioning KPI’s and reporting regime.

Preparing of time impact analyses to support extension of time claims.

About you

You have a relevant degree qualification. You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and lead strong, motivated teams. You will have a construction or project management background and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.
