Job Description

Salary

$35.365 - 35.970

Schedule

Monday To Friday

Shift

07:00 am - 4:30 pm

Expected Number of Hours: 15 hours bi-weekly ( not a guarantee of hours )

This position will work days and evenings in Endoscopy. The physical demands of the role may include but are not limited to prolonged sitting, standing, walking, bending, lifting, pushing and pulling. This position contributes to ensuring there is a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors.

Posted hours do not constitute a guarantee that shifts will not be subject to change.

Skills and Qualifications:

Must be a graduate of a recognized School of Nursing

RPN Diploma or equivalent required

Completion of a Perioperative Nursing Certification Program required or willing to obtain

Current BCLS certification required

IV certification required

Excellent assessment skills required

Experience in the endoscopy suite required

Strong medical/surgical background required

Knowledge of keyboarding and Meditech and PICIS system modules an asset

Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis is required

Must participate in on-call
