Reconstruction Estimator

Job Description

Position Type: Full Time, Mid-Level

Salary Range: $55K-75K, Negotiable; depending on experience.

Incentives: Eligible for commission based off Gross Profit

Position Benefits: You will be assigned a company vehicle and fuel card for business use only.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM

Core Responsibilities:

Engage in continuous learning, staying abreast of the latest industry codes, software updates, and best practices to ensure accurate estimates.

Generate estimates predominantly using Xactimate from Matterport scans, ensuring accuracy and comprehensiveness.

Align estimates with the profitability standards set by Kustom’s Operational Excellence Team.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the creation of accurate estimates

Sell the benefits of Kustom’s services to secure Authorizations to Proceed from prospects.

Conduct negotiations with insurance adjusters to gain approvals for estimates and supplements.

Provide detailed visual and documented accounts of damage, supporting the approval process.

Qualifications:

2-4 years of experience as an estimator in reconstruction required.

Proficiency in Xactimate for accurate estimate creation

Ability to navigate and operate effectively in varied work environments, including office settings and construction sites.

Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of securing estimate approvals from insurance adjusters

Ability to effectively engage with prospects, addressing their needs and concerns, and securing Authorizations to Proceed
