The Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and Communications provides strategic leadership, planning and oversight for marketing, communications and public relations. The VP is responsible for the planning and implementation necessary to help VMRC reach its vision of being a destination hub and achieve established resident occupancy goals. This position oversees all organizational communication with stakeholders, developing and delivering purposeful messaging using innovative strategies; serves as the media spokesperson for VMRC and directs VMRC’s community partnerships related to sponsorships and community relations. This position works closely with the Executive Team and leadership to position VMRC as a community of hope, meaning and growth for persons to age well and live fully.Requirements:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in marketing, communication, or a related field (Master's preferred).

Must have 5+ years of professional executive management experience in one or more areas of responsibility in the long-term care industry (sales experience a must), marketing, and communications preferred.

Demonstrated capacity to assemble and effectively lead cross-functional teams.

Must possess the ability to supervise, coordinate, and effectively lead the activities of others.

Must be able to communicate orally, in writing, and through presentation effectively.

Must be able to work collaboratively throughout the entire organization to effectively engage staff, residents, family members, and other stakeholders.

Must possess computer experience with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook) for operations, report generation, and presentations.

Must possess a command of the English language, both written and spoken.

Must be self-motivated, organized, and willing to be flexible to accommodate changing priorities.

Proven ability to work both independently and in a team-based environment with minimal supervision.

Compensation is based on previous work experiences and qualifications.
