Position: Structural / Fabrication Designer

Location: Uxbridge, ON

Salary: $30 per hour

Industry: Fabrication/ Designing / Solidworks

Employment Term: Full Time / Permanent

Roles & Responsibilities:

Responsible for developing and improving models for new and existing furnaces

Finding any quality or performance-related issues and guiding problem resolution

Manages the modeling process from information request to final report

Set clear guidelines for design and/or process changes.

Continuous improvement

Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications & Experience:

Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent required

3 -5 years of experience in structural/ fabrication design

Previous experience with Industrial furnaces preferred

Hands-on Solidworks experience required

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Able to travel locally to meet with suppliers
