Shipping and Receiving Specialist

Position: Shipping & Receiving Specialist

Location: Uxbridge, ON

Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 per year (based on experience)

Industry: Manufacturing / Shipping / Warehouse

Employment Term: Full Time/Permanent

Responsibilities:

· Assembling pallets of materials to be shipped out

· Sorting materials on arrival back, and distributing to various areas in shop

· Loading & unloading trucks with electric pallet truck or forklift

· Processing of Waybills, shipping documents, and international shipment paperwork

· Creating PO’s in company’s system

· Following up with vendors on status of work

· Assisting Shipping Coordinator in processing shipments

· Other duties as they arise

Requirements & Skills:

· Minimum 3-5 years related shipping & receiving experience

· Experience with Waybills and other shipping documents

· Hands on experience with ERP System such as SAGE

· Experience handling domestic and international shipping

· Good at Microsoft Office and Windows operation system.

· Counterbalance forklift experience

· Crane experience an asset/will train

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
