Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

Evaluate mechanical and electromechanical systems and products through comprehensive research and application of mechanics, hydraulics, and related principles.

Develop and test models of alternative designs and processing methods to assess feasibility, operational impacts, and potential new applications, including necessary modifications.

Validate system and product capabilities by designing and implementing feasibility studies and testing methodologies.

Develop manufacturing processes by designing and adapting equipment for fabrication, assembly, and component installation.

Identify and implement cost-saving measures for engineering projects.

Prepare detailed product reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information.

Propose design modifications to rectify machine or system malfunctions.

Provide technical support to customers as needed.

Requirements:

BS in Mechanical Engineering and 3 – 5+ years of experience in Food/Health/Pharma engineering/manufacturing.

Proficient understanding of mechanical engineering principles and methodologies.

Demonstrated proficiency in SOLIDWORKS.

Exposure to CE and OSHA guarding standards.

Working knowledge of machinery design for the food industry is a plus.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.Company Description
