New Leaf Resources is a professional outpatient mental health agency with 3 locations that has been providing quality care for over 35 years. We have offices located in Wheatfield IN, Crown Point IN, and Lansing IL. Role Description

We are seeking full-time Licensed Clinicians at each of our locations to provide mental health services to clients through assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and therapy. The majority of appointments occur in the office and if the client prefers, treatment can also be conducted through telehealth. In addition to direct client care, responsibilities include maintaining clinical records and collaborating with treatment teams. There are also opportunities to provide consultation and education to organizations in the communities we serve.

Qualifications

Master's Degree in one of the following Social Work, Mental Health Counseling or Marriage and Family Therapy

Currently licensed in one or more of the following: LCSW, LSW, LMHC, LMHCA, LCPC, LPC, or LMFT and must be eligible to obtain full licensure by the states of Indiana or Illinois. Preference will be given to candidates with full licensure.

Experience in providing counseling services to diverse populations across the lifespan including adults, children, and couples.

Demonstrated ability to conduct biopsychosocial assessments and use other assessment tools.

Experience in addressing various diagnoses.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to work in a team environment.

Knowledge of counseling/social work ethics, laws, and regulations

Ability to use an electronic health record.
