Plant Manager

Job Description

General Description:

The Plant Manager is responsible for general supervision of all phases of the production departments operations including daily production, scheduling, quality control. Work closely with the production supervisors to increase productivity and profitability within the manufacturing operation.

This person must be trained and have at least 7+ years of experience including best practices in both managerial and production platforms. Injection Molding Experience preferred.

Job Responsibility:

· Provide leadership for the successful day-to-day production

· Schedule and review established production schedules for molding and secondary assembly departments to insure established inventory levels are met while operating at the highest efficiency possible

· Coordinate and update all production status with customer service

· Maintain and support a superior safety and housekeeping

· Provide coaching and guidance to all operations employees including process technicians, mold setup technicians, machine operators and quality personnel.

· Analyze workforce requirements

· Ideas for improvement

Job Requirements

· 7 + years experience

· Strong management/leadership skill

· Previous experience/strong understanding injection molding process

· Computer skills including the ability to prepare spreadsheets and use Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel) to analyze data and trends

· Excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to balance production and maintenance needs.
