HRIS Payroll Analyst

LHH is assisting with a search for a HRIS Payroll Analyst for a project with a client in Kansas City, MO. This will be a hybrid role requiring you to work on-site 2 days/week to assist with a Payroll System implementation to Workday. Our ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of payroll experience with expertise in Workday. This is a 6-9 month contract paying $30/hour and going up based on experience. There is potential for this to go permanent for the right person. Read below for additional details!

Key Responsibilities:

Provide support to the payroll team in troubleshooting and resolving issues during the Workday implementation.

Collaborate with IT, HR, and HRIS teams to create test plans, analyze test cases, and identify and escalate issues to appropriate teams.

Manage system upgrades and participate in the evaluation of new system features, testing, and providing go/no-go recommendations.

Assist with the configuration, development, and guidance of Workday’s payroll system to ensure a smooth transition from the current system.

Ensure accurate and consistent data management throughout the company by overseeing HRIS data entries.

Provide training, guidance, technical support, and troubleshooting to all HRIS users3.

Create and maintain reports for compensation-related items and assist with the implementation of benefit plans and annual enrollments.

Qualifications:

Proven experience with Workday payroll HRIS.

Strong understanding of payroll processes and systems.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work on-site in Kansas City, MO

Pay Details: $30.00 to $40.00 per hour
