The Field HR Business Partner is a key contributor to the Pizza Hut Canada Restaurant Support Centre (RSC). They work with the Head of People to create and deliver various brand programs to ensure we build and improve the people capability in every restaurant in our Franchise community. They support key talent initiatives, collaborating with Pizza Hut franchisees across Canada to support the restaurant teams through employee engagement initiatives, capability development and delivering on our overall employee value proposition. This role will identify, create, and deliver programs that will help ignite the passion for a heart-led performance culture across all our franchisees and their teams.

Key Responsibilities (includes but not limited to):

Creates and executes the strategies to have Pizza Hut Canada Franchisees become employers of choice by understanding the needs of the restaurant teams and what motivates restaurant employees. Using that knowledge to create programming and ensure consistency across Canada.

Visits restaurants to help identify and recommend continuous improvement to restaurant-level HR programs and processes to drive efficiencies and enhance the overall employee experience.

Partners with Franchisees on HR-related initiatives and supports as needed as their first point of contact for all our people programs.

Owns the applicant tracking system (ATS) platform and experience utilized by Franchisees.

Develops change management and communication strategies to support the effective rollout of company-led programs.

Leverages our company values to drive overall heart-led performance culture in the field and identifies opportunities with suggested solutions.

Works effectively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve overall employee experience objectives.

Key Qualifications:

Post-secondary education in Human Resources, communication, or experience in field operations supporting HR programs for Franchise Organizations.

3-5 years progressive HR experience with demonstrated knowledge in the area of client relationship management (i.e., retail, hospitality, restaurant, consulting, etc.).

Must be a confident communicator, both written and verbal, and able to effectively present to all levels of the organization.

A detail-oriented, collaborative, proactive, and results-oriented style with demonstrated success in leading and working on projects and project teams as a team player.

Ability to develop talent strategies that have a lasting and sustained impact on the organization’s growth strategy.

High level of enthusiasm/energy, and responsiveness to external drivers and internal client issues.

Strong organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to travel and work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
