Job Description:
Our team is growing and we are actively looking to hire a Claim Advisor, Auto to join our Maritimes team.
To meet our customer’s needs, your work week will be Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm,*Note: work hours depend on the needs of the department.
Accountabilities:
Review insurance policy and coverages
Investigate complex automobile claims (i.e.: impaired, unlisted operator or non-drivable) and determine coverage and liability
Settle claims in accordance with organization’s policies and practices.
Required to collaborate with the customer, service suppliers (i.e. towing, repair shops), other insurance companies and law enforcement
Qualifications:
Minimum high school education or equivalent
Bilingual language fluency (English/French)
Adjusting License Level 1 or equivalent
1 - 3 years handling complex automobile claims is required
Knowledge in understanding and interpreting policies
Commitment to providing outstanding customer service
Proficient keyboard skills and computer literacy
Bonus Qualifications:
Enrolled in (or willing to enroll in) CIP designation
