Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Immigration Law Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-level support to lawyers and legal staff in all aspects of immigration law practice.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and file various immigration applications and petitions.

Manage client files and maintain an organized tracking system for all legal documents.

Conduct legal research and stay up-to-date with changes in immigration laws and procedures.

Communicate with clients, government agencies, and other entities to gather information and documents.

Assist lawyers in preparing for hearings and client meetings.

Manage client communications.

Qualifications

A minimum of 1 of experience as an immigration law clerk or in a similar role.

In-depth knowledge of immigration laws, forms, and procedures.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Quicklaw, PC Law or other legal accounting software.

A paralegal certificate, law clerk certificate or equivalent legal education is preferred.
