Mine Engineer - Blasting

Are you an experienced Blasting Engineer looking for the next step in your career? TPD is looking for a talented Blasting Engineer for our client in beautiful British Columbia. This position will give you the ability to work on a variety of sites developing and implementing continuos improvements.

Pay range of $120000 - $150000 per year

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Travel from site to site analyzing blasts

Develop and implement ways to improve blasting strategies

Checking Blast Designs and implementing improvements

Utilize Drone and Fragmentation software to identify efficacy of blasts

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

BSc in Mining Engineering (or similar)

P.Eng designation (or highly experienced E.I.T.)

Minimum of 5 Years Previous Experience in Hard Rock Drill and Blast in Open Pit Mining

Valid Driver’s License, with experience operating vehicles in mining or heavy industrial environments under various weather conditions

Comfortable utilizing fragmentation software and drone data
